Over 4,900 HDB BTO flats launched, including in Queenstown, Jurong East for the first time in about a decade

SINGAPORE - A total of 4,989 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats across seven housing projects in five estates were launched for sale by the Housing Board (HDB) on Wednesday (Aug 11). This was the third sales exercise for the year, with a median waiting time of just over four years for flats to be completed. A highly anticipated BTO project is Queen's Arc in Queenstown - one of the most sought-after mature housing estates in Singapore's oldest town - where 610 three-room and four-room flats are on offer across two blocks. The site is next to Alexandra Hospital and is bounded by Queen's Crescent and Queensway Drive. This is the first time in nine years new flats are being launched in Queenstown. The last BTO project launched there was the 1,179-unit Ghim Moh Edge project in November 2012, which sits next to the future housing land parcel that will be carved out from Dover Forest. HDB launches 3,740 BTO flats in seven projects, including S’pore’s first assisted living housing for seniors

SINGAPORE - A total of 3,740 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats, including Singapore's first assisted living public housing project for seniors, were launched for sale by the Housing Board on Thursday (Feb 4) in the first sales exercise for the year. The flats are spread across seven housing projects in the mature towns of Kallang/Whampoa and Toa Payoh (Bidadari), and the non-mature towns of Bukit Batok and Tengah. Those aged 65 and above can apply for a home at Harmony Village @ Bukit Batok, where 169 Community Care Apartments in a 15-storey residential block is on offer. The new housing concept comes with a mandatory service package to support seniors who wish to live on their own and yet enjoy some care, support and communal activities. These flats are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024 and will come with senior-friendly fittings such as grab bars and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Prices range from $52,000 to $60,000 for a 32 sq m unit and are sold on short leases between 15 and 35 years. These units cannot be resold or rented out. SINGAPORE -A total of 5,795 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats have been launched for sale by the Housing Board (HDB) on Tuesday (Nov 17), in the final sales exercise for the year. These flats are spread across seven housing projects in five estates. The biggest housing project is Bishan Ridges, where 1,502 two-room flexi, three-room and four-room flats are on offer. The site in Bishan Street 14 is next to the Kallang River and about 400m or a five-minute walk from Bishan MRT station. Prices start from $374,000, without grants, for a three-room flat and $528,000 for a four-room flat. Prices are slightly higher than the 472 units in Bishan Street 11 launched in the August BTO sales exercise, likely due to its proximity to the MRT station. Prices of the flats launched in August started at $302,000, without grants, for a three-room flat and $484,000 for a four-room flat.
