Ya Kun and Violet Oon restaurant among 22 F&B outlets ordered to close for breaching Covid-19 rules

SINGAPORE - Ya Kun Kaya Café at People's Park Centre and Violet Oon Singapore at Ion Orchard were among the 22 food and beverage (F&B) outlets ordered to close for breaching Covid-19 safe management measures in December. The breaches included not ensuring that customers adhered to the permitted group size, not ensuring a distance of at least 1m between groups of customers, and failing to minimise interaction between staff and customers, said the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 15). Eleven other F&B outlets and 31 individuals were fined for not adhering to various measures, such as allowing music videos to be played within premises and gathering in groups larger than the permitted size. Kopitiam, Delifrance among 24 F&B outlets penalised for breaching Covid-19 measures

SINGAPORE - Kopitiam and Delifrance were among 24 food and beverage (F&B) outlets penalised for breaching Covid-19 safe management measures in the past two weeks. Fifteen of these outlets were ordered to close and the remaining nine were fined, said the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) on Friday (Oct 22). Twenty-four people were also fined for failing to adhere to Covid-19 measures. The ministry said that during that period, checks were conducted on more than 1,000 premises and over 3,700 individuals for adherence to vaccination-differentiated measures. Katong Eating House, an F&B outlet in Mountbatten Road, failed to implement checks to ensure that only fully vaccinated individuals, those who had a negative pre-event Covid-19 test or those who had recovered from the coronavirus could enter the premises. Four F&B outlets ordered shut for Covid-19 breaches over CNY, 234 people fined

SINGAPORE - Club One Min in Concorde Shopping Mall and Jin Jin Eating House in North Bridge Road are among four food and beverage outlets ordered to close for breaching safe management measures (SMM) after stepped-up inspections during the Chinese New Year period. Thirteen outlets were also fined for breaching these measures, and 234 people were fined for failing to follow safe distancing at parks and beaches, the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) said on Wednesday (Feb 24). SINGAPORE - Eight food and beverage outlets were ordered to close, with fines for 26 others and 51 people for breaches of safe management measures during the year-end festive period.
