NFT Terminal Launches a Real-Time Data Analytics Platform for NFTs

Singapore, February 9, 2022- (SEAPRWire) – NFT Terminal, a leading provider of services for the growing NFT market, announced the beta launch of a service with its namesake, NFT terminal, a real-time analytics platform for NFT sales, mints, and transaction trends. NFT Terminal opened its beta release nearly a month after the successful launch of their first service: Console. In under a month, Console has provided over 730,000 users and 100 NFT communities the ability to search rarity metrics, see real-time OpenSea data, track mint events, and look up Ethereum (ETH) gas prices (gwei) in real-time. “We started Console because we noticed that DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations) and other communities lacked access to relevant data regarding their NFTs, “according to the NFT Terminal team. Through extensive research, the team noticed that one of the frustrations of DAO members who traded or minted NFTs was that there were no reliable tools for real-time analytics, sparking the development of Console. What’s more, the team noted that DAOs and other NFT projects had to compile different tools across various platforms to provide relevant data surrounding their NFTs, which in turn...

Royal Caribbean, Dream Cruises now require guests to take only pre-departure ART

SINGAPORE - Guests going aboard Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas cruise ship from Nov 8 will only have to take an antigen rapid test (ART) at the cruise terminal on the day of departure. Previously, they were required to take a pre-departure polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test. This is similar to what Dream Cruises' World Dream - the only other cruise liner offering sailings from Singapore - has been doing since cruise operators were allowed to resume sailings. The new testing requirement for Royal Caribbean will last till the end of November, according to a post on the cruise operator's website. Guests who have upcoming trips on the cruise liner also received an e-mail on Friday (Oct 22) about the new requirements. The email said that the test will be taken in the terminal on boarding day during their selected arrival window, which they would have selected during their online check-in process. "This testing cost continues to be included in your cruise fare," according to the e-mail. However, those departing on sailings from Dec 2 will have to take an ART on the day of sailing at Raffles City Convention Centre before heading to the terminal for the cruise. According to Royal ...

Workers go for Covid-19 tests on first day of Changi Airport’s closure to the public

SINGAPORE - Changi Airport turned silent on the first day of its closure to the public, even though there was a steady stream of airport workers returning for their Covid-19 swab tests. A few shoppers, unaware of the temporary closure of Jewel and restricted access to the terminal buildings, showed up. But they were turned away. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi Airport Group (CAG) had announced on Wednesday night (May 12) that they would allow only some workers and travellers to access the airport terminal buildings for two weeks from Thursday. Jewel would be closed during this period too. The closure comes as the authorities embark on a massive Covid-19 testing of airport workers following a surge in the number of Covid-19 daily cases linked to a cleaner at the airport. CAAS and CAG said they will continue to review and adjust measures as needed. This includes extending the closure if necessary. When The Straits Times visited the area around Terminal 3 on Thursday morning, a few people were seen walking around inside in full personal protective equipment. The departure hall was largely empty, except for a handful of people with their luggage. The entranc...

Jurong Port to take over O.K. Lim family’s stake in Universal Terminal: Sources

SINGAPORE (REUTERS) - Government-owned Jurong Port is set to take over the shares in a major oil storage terminal held by the Lim family behind collapsed oil trader Hin Leong, three sources with knowledge of the matter told Reuters. The deal marks the sale of the crown jewel among oil and shipping assets owned by oil tycoon Lim Oon Kuin, better know as O.K. Lim, his son Evan Lim Chee Meng and daughter Lim Huey Ching. It comes nearly a year after Hin Leong, once Asia's largest oil trader, racked up some US$4 billion (S$5.3 billion) in debt and entered court restructuring, followed by Ocean Tankers and Xihe Group also owned by the Lim family. Jurong Port is set to take over the Lim family's stakes in the terminal, the sources said, declining to be named as they are not authorised to speak to the media. The Lim family managed and owned 41 per cent of Universal Terminal through Universal Group Holdings. "Jurong Port's participation was well received by existing investors as it's a neutral partner as compared with commercial parties such as a trading house," said one of the sources. The investment details were not immediately clear but a previous sale of a stake in the terminal in 2016 ...
