ITE students help seafood supplier boost sustainability, save thousands of dollars

SINGAPORE – Local seafood supplier Song Fish Dealer was caught cold by a freezer breakdown, losing about $3,000 on the first two days of Chinese New Year in 2019 when nothing could be salvaged.

But like many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the company lacked the expertise and tools to conduct an environmental audit and solve these infrequent yet costly incidents.
